Day Centre Support Volunteer

Description
Our Day Centre Support Volunteers play a vital role in welcoming and supporting people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.
Tasks are varied and may include:
Assisting with breakfast preparation, service and clean down (8am start)
Supporting with community engagement and activity clubs that reduce isolation and build confidence.
Helping clients with practical needs such as laundry and shower facilities.
Providing essentials, serving food, and creating a warm, inclusive environment.
Assisting with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and logging activities.
Keeping logs of the services.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. Volunteers gain valuable experience in teamwork, organisation, and community support.
Kitchen Support Volunteer

Kitchen Volunteers help prepare and serve nutritious meals for rough sleepers and Day Centre visitors.
Tasks may include:
Food preparation.
Serving meals.
Tidying up our spaces.
Ensuring our clients feel welcome at mealtimes.
This role is perfect for those who enjoy practical teamwork and making a direct impact on the wellbeing of others.
Community Barber

Description
We are looking for a professional or experienced barber who offers free haircuts for our clients, boosting their confidence, dignity, and wellbeing. This is not a regular role but a wonderful way to give back with a specialist skill.
